The Hajdu PT HC 60 buffer tank without heat exchanger serves as an energy storage device for heating and cooling systems. It compensates for the time difference between the heat generator/heat emitter and the heat demand, thus guaranteeing comfort. Since the inner surface of the tank has no corrosion protection, it can only be filled with non-corrosive heating and cooling fluids. It is not suitable for storing drinking water. The Hajdu PT HC buffer tank consists of a steel tank, polyurethane foam insulation, and painted metal casing. A drain tap or a vent valve-plug must be installed in the drain-vent connection of the buffer tank, depending on the installation position.
