AQUASTIC buffer tanks serve as heat storage for closed, hot water central heating systems. Depending on their design, gas and oil-fired heaters, solid fuel, biomass boilers, solar systems and heat pumps can be connected as heat generators. They can be connected to indirect DHW tanks, but some types can also directly supply domestic hot water.
The use of buffer tanks belonging to the AQ PT..., AQ PT...C, AQ PT...C2 type family, developed for storing heating hot water, is particularly essential for equipment that does not produce heat energy in uniform amounts, such as solar collectors, dual-fuel boilers or heat pumps.
The heating buffer tank is designed, among other things, to balance the different heating needs that arise, thereby increasing the efficiency of energy production by orders of magnitude.
Thanks to their structural design and the mountable jacket, the buffer tanks can be easily transported and installed in individual heating systems. Later, they enable long-term, economical operation.
