Gravikol™ gravity Cordivari solar collector system for 4-6 people with DHW tank: 2 flat plate collectors, 200 liter 1-heat exchanger boiler

Gravity flat collector system for 4-6 people: 2 flat collectors + 200 liter HORIZONTAL heat exchanger boiler

The solar collector package included in the offer can meet the hot water needs of 3-5 people.

This package comes with 2 pcs of 2 m2 Italian-made flat collectors, a 200 liter 1-heat exchanger Drazice horizontal hot water tank.

This system does not require a pump, expansion tank, control, BUT!
The tank must be located inside the roof, above the height of the collector, so that the hot water can reach the boiler from the solar collector by gravity.
Hot water is lighter than cold, so the hot water will flow from the upper part of the collector to the boiler by itself, and the colder, heavier water will flow back from the boiler to the bottom of the collector by itself.
You don't have to worry about the water in the boiler overheating, the liquid in the collector will turn into steam sooner and thus the gravitational flow will cease.

If you can fit a stationary boiler, then ask for it, it's cheaper!

This system can also be made at home, but you can find the soul of the piping, the Gravikol™ solar collector charging and equalizing unit, among our products, but feel free to copy it!
The charging unit is NOT included in the system!

Orientation of the solar collectors:
The ideal orientation: 40-45° to the south - so you can use your solar collector system evenly all year round.
In summer, the sun is higher, in case of intensive summer use, it is recommended to place the solar collector flatter, at an angle of 25-30°, e.g. in holiday homes.
In winter, the sun is lower, so most of the sun hits the solar collectors at a steeper, 55-60° angle of inclination, which is when heating will be optimal in winter.
That is, if you want to use the system effectively in winter, it is better to install it at a steep angle of inclination, so you will still have hot water in summer.

Solar collector system
This system does not require a pump, expansion tank, or control, BUT: the hot water storage boiler must be located inside the house, higher than the collector.

This can typically be done in a tent-roofed house, where the collector must be mounted close to the eaves and the tank high in the attic.
The other option is to mount it on the side wall of the house.
Simple, great, and it works for the writer of these lines too!

The kit does not include the heat transfer fluid, which can be an antifreeze mixture or, even better, alcohol (e.g., denatured alcohol), the frame and roof hook, or the pipeline.
